Camp EVENTS

Campers will select one of the following events to participate in for the duration of camp.

• Shooting Sports

  • Students will learn safety with firearms and have the opportunity to compete in challenges and learn to shoot, as well as, gun handling and safety.

  • Solo event

• Horsemanship (this is the only horse event that your own horse isn’t required.)

  • Students can sign up for horsemanship with or without their own horse. Horses can be reserved on a first-come first served basis. Please contact Courtney at 719-849-1955. The horsemanship class takes students from a variety of backgrounds and riding levels and gives them the opportunity to learn and grow their horsemanship skills.

  • Solo event

• Roping

  • We offer instruction in breakaway roping. Whether you are just beginning or a pro there is valuable instruction available for you. We will work fundamentals on the ground and sled work.

  • Solo Event

• Goat Tying

  • Come and learn to tie goats with or without a horse. Fine-tune your skills or learn from the ground up.

  • Solo event

• Barrels/Poles

  • Regardless of your skill level, you can walk away with new knowledge and growth in the area of barrels and poles. This event focuses more on your horsemanship skill than speed. Doing things right and then worrying about the clock.
