WHAT TO EXPECT

Each camper will be given a t shirt, schedule, and facility map at check in.  They will be given a tour of the grounds, get stock put up, and settled into their designated sleeping quarters.  Campers will be given an individualized schedule, based on chosen events, of which events they are assigned to when.

Each camper will be assigned to their team leader (campers are placed in groups of 5-7 with other campers their age.)   Team leaders stay on site with the kids, so they are never alone.  They help them get around camp and make sure they get to where they are supposed to be on time.

Each morning campers will meet at their assigned events with their instructors for devotion time.  They will have two instructional sections each day.  Each event has its own arena for instruction time.  Instruction always starts with the basics and lots of ground work to make sure each student has built a foundation to build on.

Campers will attend two chapel services a day. Our chapel services consist of worship and a teaching, each building on our camp theme.  All camp staff and campers are REQUIRED to attend all services.

Free time and late night activities are offered at the end of each day.  Staff keep eyes on campers at all times to make sure they stay in designated areas.   Free time and late night activities include things like; football, volleyball, painting, tournaments, movies, bonfires, dances, and more.

Showers are available on site and shower time is scheduled. Campers are also welcome to shower during their free time.

At our senior camp we have a concession stand available on site throughout camp with snacks and drinks if anyone desires a late night snack or something besides water throughout the day.

Camp apparel; hats, shirts, and hoodies will be available.

We love for parents and families to come hang out with us on the final day of camp.  We give a buckle in each event and then awards according to the instructors choosing after the buckle.  Every camper gets an award in their event.  Our favorite award is the "Walk the Talk".  All staff watch kids throughout camp.  We watch their character and integrity, we watch how they treat other campers, how they treat staff, and how teachable they are when they think no one is watching.  Who is really walking the talk of christianity?  One boy and one girl is chosen through anonymous staff votes and the award is given at the end of the award ceremony.  After the award ceremony campers can pack up, clean up, and head home.

PARENTS

Parents we know that your kids are your most valuable possession and we make it our priority to make sure they are safe and taken care of during their time with us.  All of our staff have current background checks.

We understand that it's nice to stop in and check on your kids.  We love for you to see what they are learning and doing, however, we ask that you check in at our office and do not roam around camp without a visitor's pass.  We like to know who is on the camp grounds and when, in order to maintain safety for our campers.  If you would like to come to a service, we would love to have you, but we ask that you respect the privacy of the kids by not filming and recording in the services.

We do not allow anyone outside of staff to stay on the grounds for safety purposes.  We do prohibit alcohol and tobacco products on camp grounds.  All of our staff have a current and clear background check prior to being allowed to help. Your child’s safety is our top priority.
